Cost Rate Manager allows you to appraise the current or changing costs of the company. When allied with anticipated productive hours, Cost Rate Manager generates minimum hourly rates for each cost centre necessary to cover total costs.

Cost Rate Manager leads you through every aspect of your business, scrutinising it department by department. Costs for items such as paper, ink and outwork costs; alongside items such as fixed assets and depreciation are incorporated into an overview of the adjustments the company needs to apply to the Estimating and Job Costing modules of the TharsternSQL Print Management Information System.

This is to ensure that margins remains focal and relevant when selling your company’s products and services. Correct hourly rates are the ‘life blood’ of any estimating and job costing system. Therefore, as a business changes with new or replacement equipment; with additional staff or salary reviews etc, these activities all influence bottom-line profitability.

By updating the base data in Cost Rate Manager, the software will automatically recalculate hourly rates so the basis for estimating will reflect the changes in the company. Cost Rate Manager will help to ensure that your base costs are covered and allows for a more accurate and controlled profitability.
