Methods: Supports Hot-Folder and HTTP job submission and signal methods.
Status Signal
Integration: Any JMF status signal received can be mapped against an activity
with the MIS, e.g. Running Good Sheets or Image-setting.
Stock Usage: Resource signals received identifying usage and automatically issues
material cost to the job.

captured as Extras: Any operations indicated as outside the scope of the original job
are automatically flagged as Extras within the MIS.
Real-time
Feedback
of Device
Status: Attributes such as device speed, operation, percentage complete and
operator are displayed in real-time within the MIS. This information
is also posted against the appropriate job.

Submission: When specified, any content linked to the job using the Linked
Documents feature, is included in the job submission allowing
Pre-Press applications to commence processing immediately.
Supports
‘NewJDF’ Command: Allows connected equipment to originate a job and request that the
MIS supplies a job number and empty job record.
Auto Section
Names: Ability to create dynamic sections names to improve the speed and
accuracy of selecting and adding paper line names within estimates,
supporting JDF structure further downstream.

Page Approval
Status: Where the pre-press system supports this, the MIS shows a thumbnail
of each page of the job with the approval status indicated.
Imposition
Templates: Create and assign Folding Headers to estimated paper lines to create JDF stripping information required by pre-press software and
preserve the section ID of a job throughout the workflow. Ultimately
improving the richness of the messaging received by the MIS from
other JDF connected devices.

Estimating
Layout: Re-engineered estimating layout to further support JDF imposition
stripping, offering increased functionality for adding bleeds, trims
and other requirements.
Pre-assign
Templates: Imposition templates can be pre-assigned for automated workflow
