“As
a reel-fed printing company based in NZ we thought we were taking a punt
going with a UK developed product
but we have never regretted the decision.
The software is very user friendly and I have to say that we have been
delighted with the support that we have received from the team at
Tharstern.
A
huge bonus for us has been how hard (and successfully) they have pushed for
product development to suit our unique processes.
Nothing is ever too much trouble and
I have no hesitation recommending them."

"Installation
of the Tharstern MIS has complemented our ISO9001 certified management system by
increasing the accuracy and speed of processing information.
The software systemises
our management systems which takes the dependency off key personnel and into the
system itself. That is, the value of the business resides less in individuals
and more in a system, which results in a more sustainable and saleable business.
We realise we still have
a long way to go in fully utilizing all the system has to offer but that is a
reflection on how sophisticated it is and why we believe Tharstern will remain
of value to our business in future."

"Worldwide Online is a well established
gang printer with fairly specialised needs. We have relied on an
in-house developed MIS system for many years, however the system has
been costly to upkeep and is showing it’s age and lack of
flexibility. Our first dabble in the outsourced MIS world (with a
competitor’s product) was not a terribly good one. Although their
product seemed to tick all the right boxes, their lack of service
and support turned us right off.
Although still at the early stages with the TharsternSQL
implementation, we have been impressed by the level of knowledge and
support provided by the team at Tharstern. Not only that, but the
functionality we were promised is actually ready to use ‘out of the
box’ unlike other solutions on the market."
Chris Eales, Worldwide Online, Australia |
"Simply put: TharsternSQL is the
kind of product
you
don’t want your competitors to get their hands on.
It is a major part of our competitive advantage and although we
know it’s not possible, in a perfect world,
it would be our secret weapon.
We’re very committed to the software
and appreciate how the team behind it are truly committed to us.
We can and do, recommend it to
anyone who is looking for (what we think is) the best print MIS
solution available."

"At
Prestige Print, we were impressed by Tharstern at the initial demonstration.
Since implementation and go-live, we continue to be impressed.
TharsternSQL is powerful software that fulfils all our needs. While still in
the early stages (and going through an extensive learning curve) we are
comforted to know that the Tharstern team is just a phone call away. We
moved from an old Print Management System supported by an overseas company
and frankly, we have never looked back.”
Stephanie Walker, Prestige Print Limited, NZ |
"We’ve found that TharsternSQL has amply repaid the time we have
invested into setting it up.
It is our model employee; always there, always helpful, never grumpy and happy
with the occasional upgrade instead of wages.
The more you put into it the more you will get out of it and the
support team is always eager to help us achieve this."

"Lilyfield
had been using another MIS for many years which had performed the
role that it was initially installed for but did not have the
capability to support our future goals and give us a competitive
advantage.
After much investigation, we selected
the Tharstern MIS and ecommerce solution (e4print) as it provided
all the capabilities and functionality that we needed.
We have been using the system for two
years now and the system has performed above our expectations. We
can directly attribute significant improvements in our process
and efficiency directly to the Tharstern system.”
Ian Kingham, Director,
STI Lilyfield, AU |
"The Tharstern MIS system has
provided Southern Colour Print with the mechanism to truly
understand the drivers of the business.
The functionality and ease of data
extraction makes Tharstern a powerful tool. These attributes have
had a direct positive effect on margins the business generates."

Southern Colour Print, NZ

"Keyprint have been a
user of TharsternSQL since September 2004. During this time existing staff
found this product easy to use and new staff members were quick to pick up on
its use. Having just gone through the FSC, PEFC accreditation process, it
proved invaluable to show that we used a software product where we were able to
track our stock from requisition to the delivery of the final printed product
with all COC requirements satisfied.
Keyprint have been more than happy
with the Tharstern SQL product. We have always found the staff at
Tharstern NZ a pleasure to deal with and when we need their support,
they are there to help us. I thoroughly endorse both the company
and their product."
Gavin Keys,
Keyprint Printing Ltd, NZ |
"Tharstern has bought together
four
operating systems within our company to just one system.
While the training is intense the
trainers set the tasks at a manageable rate.
From the first viewing of
Tharstern T3 at IPEX I am still amazed at the new parts that
evolve out of the software.
The more you get into it the more
you can get out of it, freeing up valuable hours to concentrate
on running the business."

"Tharstern NZ
has been terrific in helping us to iron out all the crinkles in our
costings and creating an environment where we can monitor and
measure each and every job with little effort.
The myriad of factors that are required in the print industry have
been incorporated into our costings to give confidence in our
numbers allowing smarter business decisions to be made before taking
on jobs making us pro-active and not re-active."
